Mike Roberts started his career with the City of Burnaby at the age of 17. He spent his initial years working in an operational capacity before moving into supervisory and then managerial roles. He held the Safety and security manager for the City of Burnaby 5 years and then found a natural transition into the Manager of Audit and Training Services for BCMSA. In 2017 he was successful in achieving the position of Executive Director and is now engaged in further developing an already excellent organization. Delivering almost 800 training sessions last year to 11,000 students, BCMSA has a lot going on with much more to come he says. A soccer coach who is certified at the national level, Mike Roberts is a goal-oriented professional who naturally finds himself thinking in strategic ways, laser-focused on delivering results which make a positive difference in people’s lives.
