Our Training Team

Phil Eastwood is a former London Bobby who brings a thirty-five year career in policing to his role as Senior Partner of Fiore Group Training. Phil is lead author of workplace training courses in respectful workplace training, workplace violence employee training, and leadership training seminars. He holds a Master of Arts in Leadership and Training and has delivered corporate training since 1998. Phil is also an accomplished keynote speaker and was awarded his Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation in 2018.

PAUL FAYLESenior Trainer
Paul Fayle was born and raised close to Manchester in the UK. He joined the Greater Manchester Police in 1983, working as an unarmed Police Officer in Patrol, the Riot Control Group, and as a Community Police Officer. In 1995 he immigrated to the Lower Mainland where he joined the New Westminster Police. He then finished his career with New Westminster Police as the Staff Sergeant in charge of Operational Support and directly responsible for all Event and Emergency planning. On retiring from Policing, Paul joined the Fiore Group as a facilitator of educational and training seminars for Prevention of Violence in the Workplace and Respectful Conduct in the Workplace. In a policing career spanning two continents and 37 years, Paul has encountered many emotionally charged and potentially violent situations and individuals. As such he can draw from a wealth of firsthand knowledge and experience in how to create and maintain safe work practices.

NEIL COLLINSSenior Trainer
Neil joined the Fiore Group as a Trainer in 2022 after retiring from a 28-year policing career, during which he rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant and worked in various specialty areas. Neil was also heavily involved with the Police Association, where he held the position of President for the last 5 years of his career. Neil has supervised and mentored countless police officers and has developed into a successful leader with a style based on humility, trust, fairness, and mutual respect. Neil is very well versed in human resource and organizational issues, having worked in the Professional Standards Section, supervising front-line operational police officers, and in his time on the Police Association. Having been personally involved in mitigating violence and resolving respectful conduct issues in the workplace, Neil brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in making workplaces healthier and safer for everyone. With experience in public speaking for numerous events, Neil brings an enthusiastic and energetic presence to the classroom to create an enjoyable learning experience.

STU JETTESenior Trainer
Stu joined the Fiore Group as a trainer after retiring from the New Westminster Police Department after a 27-year policing career.
In addition to his experience in operational and investigative roles within policing, Stu was a police trainer for over 15 years, specializing in use-of-force and police tactics instruction. He was also involved in the police union for over 8 years, gaining experience in supporting and representing members in various processes such as contract bargaining and discipline hearings.
Stu worked as an investigator in the Professional Standards Section, which allowed him to become involved in a wide variety of human resource and
organizational issues while also learning how to investigate and resolve disputes in the workplace.

SCOTT MAGLIOSenior Trainer
Scott has 20 years of experience as a police officer with the majority of his time specialized in training police tactics and use of force. Scott has experience in frontline policing, plainclothes, and several years as an operator on the emergency response team. Scott has a passion for training and helping make people safer at work. Scott has a master’s degree in criminal justice from UFV and believes in being a lifelong learner.”

DORIT MASONSenior Trainer
Dorit began working with Fiore Group Training in 2017 and she is a highly motivated, dynamic professional with success in leadership, management, marketing, innovation, and crisis response, gained in the emergency and environmental management fields. She holds a Master of Science from the University of British Columbia and has exceptional skills at engaging stakeholders, fostering relationships, providing strategic direction, creating winning teams, project management, and a desire to increase the resiliency of people and organizations.
We really feel that the Fiore Group is a full service company. They were willing to customize the curriculum and adapt to our schedule. They checked in with us regularly with updates and concerns, provided detailed reports of results, and offered to meet with us to help decipher and implement report results into positive resolutions. We have since scheduled the Fiore Group to provide further training in the field of supervisory skills with our Fire Officer candidates in the fall.
